Do you have a marketing plan? Are you reaching your
targeted customers? Two very tough questions for any business today.
Here is a simplistic yet effective way to increase sales.
First you need to look at your business and divide your
sales into Commercial, Retail and Industrial sales. Now after
breaking down the numbers and yes this is a pain - but do it, rank them
accordingly, numbers 1, 2 and 3. Now most marketing advisors would tell you to
concentrate on the number 2 position. Forget it - these guys make
hundreds of dollars an hour and concentrate on one sale - Sales - to them
Commercial, Retail and Industrial rankings breakdown as nothing but sales.
Concentrate on your number 1 ranking. This will become your
marketing plan. You have specific customers in those fields who use
your services, are happy with your products and are probably good payers.
Find others in that same field and expand your sales.
I suggest after you increase sales 30% move to rank number
